Pam is still understandably apparently busy with her home's sale, an eminent move, another delightful family wedding in September of her other son, and her daughter Kristina's departure to set up her new apartment for fall semester in mid August in another city.., Still no further word from Pam; (nor for that matter, not any returned phone calls when clear phone messages have been left requesting the kind courtesy of a return phone call in reply, no emails, nor even blog comments. Likely we'll hear from them when they want to retrieve their daughters things that are stored here). ~  Or, perhaps they are away. ~ We do hope all is well!.., I'm sure your prayers will always be appreciated!

A warm welcome to all. Things are so very busy theses days whereas there is so much  to do with packing, staging and putting our home back on the market once again.., (This blog post is a re-post*).

The sun was shining on that lovely Sunday morning when I awoke. ~ A nice change to be sure!  I decided to take the opportunity to photograph my tea table.  ( These photos were taken several months ago for my previous blog post from the past*).

My tea table is small because our home is staged for selling

A teacup from my mom's collection

Hand made pearl necklace

Antique pearl brooch 

I must retire these items.

The cupcake is a bath bomb.

The chocolate bon bon holds lip loss.

So cute!

We'll be serving scones and marmalade.

and adapts to indoors in the autumn

METHOD

Wash and clean oranges, chop (remove pits if any)

Weigh oranges and add equal weight of sugar

Place in a large pot (if the fruit is dry add a little water),

Boil rapidly then reduce heat a little (be careful or it will boil over- big sticky mess)

Skim off rising scum

Drop small amount to test on a cold plate until jam gels

Remove from heat and when cooled a little fill,  *prepared jars 

Note!

Always ensure that the jars are clean, preheated and standing on wooden surface during filling.

Allow to stand and cool a little before closing securely.

Amid the stress of selling our home, the Spring did have a joyous occassion.  My son's and daughter-in-love's wedding. The weekend was blessed in so many ways for them and all of us that attended. I will celebrate their wedding in my next post. Their colours were gold and silver..,
