The 85th, Teapot And Tea Things Tuesday; Gingerbread Christmas Tea Party;

Welcome to our special...

85th, 'Teapot And Tea Things Tuesday'!

 Come sit at my table and share with me,

Warm gingerbread cookies and cinnamon tea.

Welcome one and all to our Gingerbread Christmas Tea Party!  It is wonderful to have you drop in for a cup of steaming tea and a sweet treat.  Do find a cozy, comfy chair to settle into for  a wee break.  Are you still as busy as I with the festivities of this blessed season? Even more reason to sit and visit with the others and catch your breath. A gift to yourself and to us who enjoy your company.

A special thank you to Sandi @ Rose Chinz Cottage  and
Kathy @ A Delightsome Life  for their wonderful teas last week!

Thank you for hosting such wonderful events, ladies.

Do you have a Gingerbread house or treat or recipe with ginger in it to share?  I can hardly wait to see what you have. Please use Mr Linky and delight us with your offering.  As always we love to  catch a glimpse of anything related to tea.  Mr Linky will be available on Monday.

I want to share a very special teaset this week. It was a gift.  Mr R was on a business trip several winters ago, in New Brunswick, and stumbled upon a Gingerbread house teapot. Being it was a few weeks after Christmas it was nicely marked down, so he made the purchase and brought it back to Ontario.  He thought finding the matching cream and sugar would be simple. But they were no where to be found, in the stores.  As the seasons changed he persisted in his quest and suceeded in finding it on Ebay, in time for that Christmas!  IT has been part of our Christmas traditions ever since.

A s time is short this week I simplified my tea table, adding a few new pieces to selected pieces from last week.

Merry Christmas Recipe

Blend equal parts of Faith and Hope mixed well with Charity;

Stir in Good Will and Sweet Content and Precious Memory.
Add Kindness, Helpfulness and Joy; of Gratitude don't spare;
Then drop by drop Love's Essence sweet, and Praises freely share.
And don't forget such spices rare as Laughter, Smiles and Fun,
Taste often for the best results, ('Tis sweet to mince upon).
Now add a
Thankful Heart and then, the recipe's complete,
Your "Merry Christmas" all will like … so try the season's treat.
