Happy is the man who can keep a quiet heart,
in the chaos and tumult of this modern world.

Many happy memories.
Now a quiet place for me to reflect over a cup of tea.
My time with God.

  4. What a special place for you to hang out. It must feel so good to be in the former nursery and spend adult time with the Lord.

  5. Thanks for sharing that Scripture!!!! I really love reading what everyone posts for Sunday. I've been posting a memory verse every Sunday for the last few weeks. I think it's good to know/memorize Scripture. It's the best thing I've found to guard my mind and my heart :) :) :) I just finished this study on the book of Ruth called "Redeeming Ruth" I took all sorts of notes and it's really good, because I've can't stop talking about it and what I've learned. It was very encouraging, too!!! I love how God works in our lives and the awesome things He can accomplish if we only trust Him :) :)
On a sidenote, I love your photograph with the chair, tea set, and the mirror/dresser drawer combo LOVE IT. I would love something similar in my room :) :)
Have a lovely Sunday tomorrow and a really good week.!!!! Love and hugs from Oregon, Heather :) :) :)

  10. I think being still is one of the hardest things for us 21st century gals to do. With wheels readily available to take us where we want to go, with computers, cell phones, and all sorts of other techy gadgets, being still and silent is something we really have to work at, huh? But it is SO vital not only to our relationship with God, but to our own mental and physical health, I think. Silence...stillness...IS essential.

    Have a lovely day,
    Patti
