In the effort to give good and comforting answers to the young questioners whom we love, we very often arrive at good and comforting answers for ourselves.
Ruth Goode
Sometimes the simplest questions can be a wonderful opportunity to teach our young ones but in doing so we may have a better understanding ourselves. What has been the simplest question that has been asked of you that in pondering you changed your mind? Let's relax over a cup of piping hot tea and ask a few questions of our own. Who knows what mysteries we will unravel?
A preview of what is to come.
Thank you for your patience!

Very pretty tea cups...love the teapot.
ReplyDeleteHi Pam,
ReplyDeleteAlthough it is Saturday already I kindly accepted your invitation to join you for tea.
Now, I am confused - did you want us to leave our question on here, so that we could share our thoughts on these questions, or was it just imaginary, drinking tea from your more than gorgeous teacups? Fabulous china, and as I am a child of late '40s the floral patterns remind me so of the '50s. Materials had these flowers, china had these bright colours. I just love the teacup with the green and the flowers on the inside. Your mother's embroidery is pretty too - so many hours spent in creating this, in the mean time her thoughts going everywhere and relaxing.
Also, I very much appreciate the way you put bible texts on your blog - it is really a thought of the day. I do not see this on blogs in Holland, but it is such a wonderful idea.
Have a happy day!
Jacoba
