The 22nd, Teapot And Tea Things Tuesday:Turquoise Teaset;

Welcome to the 22nd,
'Teapot And Tea Things Tuesday'

An archaeologist is the best husband any woman can have;
the older she gets, the more interested he is in her.

                                                                    Agatha Christie

I have waited to present my next tea set for this very week. This tea set was a gift to my parents on their wedding day. If my dad had not passed away three years ago, my parents would have celebrated their marriage of sixty yearsthis October second For my dear father, time only increased his love for my mother,  and his faith in God to resolve life's challenges. He was not always a romantic man, but when he remembered, those moments of unconditional love shone as bright as the stars.  Their anniversary was a date he never forgot. Mom always received a large bouquet of flowers on the second of October. So as the day approaches,  I can give her flowers but our memories will certainly bring him to our minds and hearts.

As we take our places around the tea table this week, may I ask you to raise a pretty teacup and salute all devoted couples who have persevered through the years with love and faith in their hearts. To those who have dealt with the oversights, forgiven each others follies and looked to keep their love alive.

I started early this morning, determined to be prepared for you.

Comforting Answers

The 21st, Teapot and Tea Things Tuesday

In the effort to give good and comforting answers to the young questioners whom we love, we very often arrive at good and comforting answers for ourselves.
                                                                                         Ruth Goode

Sometimes the simplest questions can be a wonderful opportunity to teach our young ones but in doing so we may have a better understanding ourselves. What has been the simplest question that has been asked of you that in pondering you changed your mind?  Let's relax over a cup of piping hot tea and ask a few questions of our own.  Who knows what mysteries we will unravel?

A preview of what is to come.
Thank you for your patience!

20th, 'Tea Pot And Tea Things Tuesday'

Welcome to the 20th, 'Teapot And Tea Things Tuesday!

"I've learned that true friendship continues to grow,
even over the longest distance."
                                                  Unknown

I am so delighted to join in the fun this week.  Do I dare say that the time went by so quickly last week that I was unable to keep track of time and Tuesday came and went without me realizing.

I just walked in the door thirty minutes ago, arriving back home from the east coast.  We spent the week visiting my dear friend Wanda Lee  (Silken Purse & Plumed Pen)and her husband and helping my daughter get settled with them as she prepares to start a new degree at university.  But before unpacking I wanted to say I missed all of you and I will be posting for Tuesday, however it will be after work tomorrow. I am anticipating a very enchanting tea party, indeed.

Blessings 'til then.  Pam

Is  It  Ever  Too  Late  for  Tea?

I hope not.  Catching up and unpacking has taken much longer than I anticipated.  I really need a cup of hot, flavourful tea to revive me. I invite you to put your tasks aside for a moment and join me for a cuppa.

China to celebrate the coming of Autumn and the bounty God has blessed us with.

I wonder who this was?
What was her life like?

Cornflower cream and sugar compliment so much
