The 8oth, Teapot And Tea Things Tuesday:

Welcome to ...

the 80th, Teapot and Tea Things Tuesday!

Whatever we possess becomes of double value
when we have the opportunity
of sharing it with others

                                                                                                                             Bouilly

Welcome friends, old and new, to this 80th post of  'Teapot and Tea Things Tuesday'It has been a pleasure to become acquainted with each of you, over the last 80 weeks and have a glimpse of  your treasures and the memories.  I have enjoyed selecting each piece and  have indeed found that in sharing them with you has given me great pleasure.

On this occassion I wanted to do something a little special to mark the day.

I wish to thank  my dear friend Wanda, at Silken Purse who co-hosts this meme every week, with me.  Without her constant support and encouragement I would not have ventured to do this.  And to all of you who have given encouraging comments and become followers or particapants, I am thrilled that I have had the opportunity to share my tea treasures with you.  I am the richer for it.

As you settle yourself at the tea table I will go to the kitchen and serve up one of my favorite autumn desserts.  It is simple, quick and very tastey.  I hope you enjoy it!

A sincere invitation to join the party is always there..,

If you have a moment to linger I invite you to stop in to The Silken Purse

  14. Dearest Pam,

This is simply exquisite! I love the lace and the rich colors and the silver especially! Thanks for co-hosting and happy 80th, 'Teapot and Tea Things Tuesday', my dear friend!

And yes.., Mr. Linky can have his 'temperamental moments.

Yet all was well that ended well!..,I think overall, we do connect very well with our different schedules most of the time Pam, which is lovely..,

A LITTLE TIDBIT OF BLOG TRIVIA; A serendipitous discovery on your blog Pam:

~ Also, I just love your new blog back ground all the more so now; though I thought it was very delightful when you first changed it Pam!.., (I did NOT realize at that time, that the soft, Robin's Egg blue, damask pattern was also there IN THE BACK GROUND PATTERN).

..,You see Pam, my eyesight is unfortunately so very myopic/near-sighted, that I usually have to set my web browser on my laptop at a much larger image viewing mode. Now I see all the more so that It's so very much more pretty, so 'tres chic' and softly hued like a pretty, pastel, French Macaron!

..,I was delighted when I clicked the 'Ctrl shift, - -' button; ( instead of my usual setting of 'Ctrl, + +'), and discovered it!

Thanks so much also for you sweetly encouraging comments as well; it is always much appreciated!

    Hugs, WL
