Lady Spring

Dear friends, it is hard to believe that the first day of spring has come and passed and the next week will usher in  April.

"Signs of Spring" by Walter Crane (1845-1915)

Lady Spring is taking a leisurley stroll through our garden this year.

She is slowly gifting us us with signs of Spring, sure to build to a crescendo of glorious colours!

I was excited to see the petite dove grey pussy willows in our yard last week.

I love adding these fuzzy flowers to spring decorating projects.

.
W hat signs of spring have you seen in the last few days?

  1. My, this 'sweet Spring surprise' was worth waiting for! How lovely dear Paper Butterfly!

Oooh my, the birds nests, the pussy willows and the oh so lovely painting of the 'Spring ladies'!.., And, where did you ever find that adorable 'pussy willow wreath'?~ This post is pure delight 'Paper Butterfly', my dear friend!

Cheers and hugs from Wanda Lee

P.S.~I'm very tired now, as I have been blogging steadily and need to take a rest!~ I will visit my fellow bloggers later!~My how quickly I can go from a personal best of '43' comments to only two! Very humbling!.., I do think folks will hopefully enjoy my new 'Tablescape Thursday' post; it's just that I truly find, more than joining in with weekly themed blog party memes, or even new fresh posts, those regular visits to other bloggers are key! I do so daily, yet,'humble pie' really never hurt anyone!

  2. Dear Paper Butterfly,

I am so glad that you could partake, abeit, 'laterish', with last week's, 'Tuesday Tea For Two', blog party!..,

I want to most warmly invite you my dear friend to join in first thing, (almost before anyone else or at least 'relatively' early on), because I do almost guarantee if you felt you could, you would get comments, as they always visit each other early on in the blog party!

..,I'll give you 'a heads up' and mention I'll likely be creating Tuesday's post to go live with Mr. Linky on 'Monday afternoon or evening' as my fellow ' blog party 'memers', seem to do in blogland these days..,

..,I will also be joining BNOTP, 'METAMORPHOSIS MONDAY' MEME, about something you've transformed; 'really anything' lovely that you've changed for the better.~ 'BLUE MONDAY', which is about anything blue, from blue sky and water, to flowers to objects galore, often blue and white dishes.~ AND, 'MOSIAC MONDAY', which is about digitally created mosiacs of anything you find lovely!

~ Then for Tuesday there is the delightful Marty's,'Tabletop Tuesday'@ 'A Stroll Thru Life
blog, about anything to do with a table top display;(much like Susan's,'Tablescape Thursday' blog party meme @ BNOTP blog)..,

I will join these meme, all at the same time as many many bloggers do, to maximise my efforts.., Most importantly though, because it's just great fun and you meet such fab fellow bloggers!

The links will be on my, 'The Plumed Pen' blog if you want to join in with any of these delightful memes at the same time as, 'Tuesday Tea For Two'! ~ People can and do, blog on Monday for instance and include a next day, Tuesday meme as well.

One 'blue and white teacup picture' and your done at least for two memes; 'Blue Monday' @ Smiling Sally's blog;(google this to be sure), and you're also all set at the same time for, 'Tuesday Tea For Two'!.., Hehe..,

.., It's also great, as you have recently done, to 'hold' so to speak, (and not 're-blog' or 're-post', even for a contest for instance, for a few days afterward).

Thanks so much for stopping by and for your sweet comment dear lady, 'Paper Butterfly'!

Lots of 'food for thought' my dear!~ I hope this get 'the creative juices flowing'; no need to be overwhelmed!~My advice to any and all fellow bloggers is to 'KISS' it, as you have so often said my friend!~ You are so right!

Cheers and hugs from Wanda Lee @ The Plumed Pen
