Welcome friends, old and new, to this 80th post of  'Teapot and Tea Things Tuesday'.  It has been a pleasure to become acquainted with each of you, over the last 80 weeks and have a glimpse of  your treasures and the memories.  I have enjoyed selecting each piece and  have indeed found that in sharing them with you has given me great pleasure.

On this occassion I wanted to do something a little special to mark the day. 

 I wish to thank  my dear friend Wanda, at Silken Purse who co-hosts this meme every week, with me.  Without her constant support and encouragement I would not have ventured to do this.  And to all of you who have given encouraging comments and become followers or particapants, I am thrilled that I have had the opportunity to share my tea treasures with you.  I am the richer for it.

As you settle yourself at the tea table I will go to the kitchen and serve up one of my favorite autumn desserts.  It is simple, quick and very tastey.  I hope you enjoy it!
